NightProwler17 9 Posted March 5, 2021 Hey there...is anyone using the M17. I am having issues binding to my MMax Maclan 160A ESC. I can bind the ESC and servo just fine, but once i turn the receiver off and turn back on, only the servo works. Anyone experience this? ANy suggestions? mtbkym01 4008 Posted March 5, 2021 Have you tried another esc, or the same esc with another tx/RX set? You may need to work through the components to see which one is creating the issue. The M17 is a high end quality radio (doesn’t mean it’s immune to faults) as is a Maclan ESC. The easiest way to diagnose will be by elimination so replace one component at a time to test everything. Even try a different servo, they can sometimes appear fine, but will actually be the culprit in the set up Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Juls1 1661 Posted March 6, 2021 Sometimes computer radios set at 100% epa don’t have enough bandwidth for a ESC to be setup properly. Try setting the epa on your radio to 125-150% and see if that makes a difference. Not saying this is the problem but it’s something I’ve come across with my DX5R several times with some esc’s.
