Wetman 417 Posted March 13, 2021 I`d actually still like a Mk1 Freelander. Would work quite nice on a High set up TT-02

I remember seeing it on Grandstand being drive by Jim Clark on three wheels half the time. He then jumped into a formula 1 or maybe even 2 and raced it and won. In those days the drivers would compete in multiple disciplines at the same meeting!!!
Dookie-Shoes 4 Posted March 14, 2021 A Lancia Stratos for sure. I’m sure Lancia/Stellantis would not demand much in licensing to make it happen. And if they end up shutting down Lancia completely???...who knows what would happen then? But in my opinion, the Stratos is one of the most important and iconic cars of all time. There are many others I’d obviously like to see too... a Caterham ... a Porsche 550 Spyder, etc... But, for the love of god... please... PLEASE re-release the B2B sidecar again!
chuckjaywalk 89 Posted March 23, 2021 A non-Rally Lancia Stratos, so I could paint it that sweet Lancia Light Blue. A Hyundai Elantra to delight my Hyundai loving partner. A Ford Pinto/Mercury Bobcat on an M-Chassis.
GooneyBird 938 Posted March 24, 2021 Another vote for the TRF Lunchbox. I'd love to see Tamiya 'do' an SCX10-esque car. Front motor, 313mm (optionally adjustable to a couple of other sizes), remote lockable diffs and maybe the three-speed from either the big rigs or the Bruiser. Basically, what the CC02 should have been. Somewhat related: make above-mentioned chassis flat enough that a full interior becomes possible. Then team up with the guys that design the 1/24 scale model cars, and make a full interior tub. I'm talking floormats up. It would be quite the dream to have maybe a 15-20 mph car that could run all day with direct sunlight. Really cool idea! Maybe have a competing product on hydrogen. (Water Eagle?) I think the Pinto/Bobcat/ 2 Gen mustang platform is under represented in models in generals. Along with the Hyundai Elantra another modern hatchback I’d like to see is the current Honda Civic ( on a FWD M platform ) 8 hours ago, GooneyBird said: I'd love to see Tamiya 'do' an SCX10-esque car. Willy iine 18806 Posted March 25, 2021 I would like Tamiya to release a m-chassis with double CF deck. I have their TA05 M-Four (bedsides M01, M03, M05), but all my other CF m-chassis are by other brands like TOP and Xpress.

All they've got to do is copy it and stick your name on the box, or on a sticker on the shell somewhere. But then the corporate pride kicks in and they can't bring themselves to use an 'outside the company' idea

tamiyaluvr 1 Posted March 27, 2021 **I'd like to see them re-release the King Cab. Perhaps a Super King Cab version with the Super Astute TTC drivetrain and carbon reinforced chassis and reinforced/re-designed parts that were known to break easily. Sell or include Hop-up Aluminum Dampers and sell separate body sets like the Hilux. **Perhaps make short wheelbase versions of current touring chassis and make Porsche 911 GT2 and Porsche 934 bodies with more liveries a Tamiya mainstay. Sell belted 31mm tires with Type-A compound. *Make race worthy 2wd and 4wd buggy kits that have the same appeal of the original buggies like the Frog, Fox, Hotshot, etc.
Killajb 1546 Posted March 27, 2021 @MadInventor: These were done by a much better craftsman than myself. For sure however, I would spend TRF money for them in kit form.
gregdogghurst 321 Posted March 31, 2021 Don’t know if it’s already been suggested but DB03 (preferably with RRs)

A new DB03/DN02 and TRF5XX and TRF2XX. Preferably just like how they do the onroad, tried and true TRF for competitive and some innovation in the DB/DN cars with a clear upgrade path for the cheaper ones. Nugget 412 Posted March 31, 2021 A static super detailed Porsche 917k in 1/12th scale. Can’t understand why they never offered it as Tamiya s relationship with Porsche used to be so good.
