Hi , some advice please. I have the gold wheels with my super hotshot, I want to keep these for shelf display on the car, and when I'm running it I want to pop on some cheap ones. Lots of cheap smart ones on ebay but the fittings look different apart from the 12mm hex nut. I came across a set of tamiya to 12mm adapters. Would this do the job?

You can take off the triangle wheel adapter and replace it with standard 12mm hexes and then use any modern wheel. Something like these would work

I've used them on my Boomerang to run modern 2.2" wheels and tyres
