Lunchbox Shocks

Apologies in advance I know this has been asked plenty of times but CVA’s-

1. Best length 85mm or 80mm.
2. Same front and back

I put the kit recommended CVA‘s on my daughters LB, possibly Short II from memory but the front springs are too soft.

What spring set should buy to firm up the front?

I’ve tried thicker oil, thicker collars but It still needs some help.

I want to  sort her shocks out and then add CVA’s to my LB, I have a pair of Falcon front shocks I’d like to use if they are the right length.

So I have a pair of 85mm CVA’s in my spares. 
 

I’m guessing that 80mm Instead of 85mm shocks just brings the chassis 5mm closer to the ground?
