I just got this for $5,  to pickup on the weekend.

Is it Turbo Scorpion ? or a different version. Appears that it might be very old.

Thanks in Advance.

The body shell is from a Turbo scorpion... But the shocks are short ones while I believe the Turbo Scorpion had the longer ones also in the original edition (the red color may indicate Beetle or Tomahawk rather than Scorpion). Further it has a short wheel base and wheels seems to be from a tomahawk rather than a Scorpion or turbo scorpion. The black tub was normally a beetle one (same chassis base as Tomahawk). So ultimately, it is the short wheel base (Scorpion, Beetle or Tomahawk). It may be a Tomahawk originally.

Okay. I have it in hand. Missing the battery cover plate. All batteries are soldered and toasted.
I think it is a Scorpion. Any pictures that I can take to help id?

I found that it is a Scorpion with a Turbo body. Original release.

I think the radio could be functional, but corrosion of the batteries is really bad. Not sure I want to spend for the replacement batteries, but I might “rig” something up to test.
