emtee 0 Posted April 5, 2021 As XF paint is a flat finish, could I paint INSIDE a polycarbonate shell with it!
Superluminal 3729 Posted April 5, 2021 Ive used it before to brush paint in very small localised areas where some detail has been required before spraying the main colour. It will still look shiny on the outside though as the lexan itself gives the glossy effect to the paint. However you need to be careful as it wont hold on to the shell anywhere the body will flex and can flake off. Also you want the spray over it to be very light coats allowed to dry between coats otherwise if you go too heavy with it the solvents in the spray paint reacts with the brushed on paint and it turns into gloopy mess (I had this issue on a kyosho scorpion shell id painted the driver on the inside and had to repaint it outside)
