Terra Scorcher steering mods???

Looking forward to building my Fire Dragon. I’m collecting mods and hopups at the moment.

Looking at the manual, I see that the steering has a simple metal bar connecting the two arms.  Really???

Is there a Mod I can do to improve the steering?  Maybe parts from another car???  Does it even need it?
