What to do with a DF01 Chassis?

Hello,

 

i have a couple of DF01 Chassis.

1 Top Force

2 Blazing Stars (either of them badly painted and/or in the wrong Color and one of them are missing the original shocks and wheels)

1 Dirt Thrasher (sadly painted blue instead of white.....)

 

The Top Force will be restored with a Repro Body and painted boxart.

The Dirt Thrasher maybe will get the right paint if i find a new Body.

The Blazing Star stays as it is, maybe i try to repaint it....

 

 

But there is 1 DF01 chassis i only have a poorly painted Blazing Star Body witout a wing, baad aluminum oilshocks with neonyellow springs. What should i do with it? what Body would fit the chassis?

I could put a Puckupbody on it, but then i would need new Arms to narrow down the Trackwidth... ....but then it would fit to my Ford Baja Car (also with a trashed Body.....)

But yes, it would be the obvious choice.

Maybe i will get a Mata Body and paint it like the "Turbo" known from Toystory.

What about one of the old wide rally car bodies from Parma or Frewer or maybe others? I once had a Blazing Star with a Parma Toyota Celica GT-4 body on it, it fit perfectly and looked really cool. They also did an Opel Corsa and a Ford Sierra Cosworth, maybe others.

Any other 235mm wide on-road body should fit too, as long as the hood isn't too low for the shock towers.

Are the wide Bodies 1/8 Scale?

I have 4 1/10 Rallycars, Renault Turbo, Lacia 037, Lancia Delta and a Toyota Celica, so a 1/8 would not fit perfectly in my Lineup....

 

A Mantaray is a good Choice, but an other Bodyshell would be more aprechiated by me.

I´m in Search of a fresh F150 Baja, a Hilux Monster Racer and a King Cab Body as a Repro Lexan Shell..... They would fit.

 

E.g. the DT-02:

You can put a Rough Rider Bodyshell on it and it looks good. Sadly that is not possible with an DF01, because of the Damperpossitions etc.

 

a "vintage" repro Body would be very nice, or maybe a baja Body.
