its not tamiya related but,

have you ever lost manuals for things like:

ESC's

Chargers

etc

Well do you think that a section with scaned manuals for different chargers, esc's etc would be good. i think it would because i know how fustrating it can be when you loss the instructions for something.

What do you guys think,

I can see how this would be useful but just think how many Esc's and chargers have ever been made! I really don't think a complete list would be practical (or possible). The best way would probably be just to put a post in the for sale wanted section asking members if they have one. Up to Chris of course.

or maybe post a list of manuals members have available, for example.

spice has:

LRP F1

Futaba 230

etc..

Then if someone wanted a copy, members could send them to each other. [:)]

not a bad idea but how many members are going to keep all the stuff on there computer plus what happends if you need a manual and the only person that has it is away on hol's or ill i know it takes up space but it's easy to access from the net

in a way it is tamiya related as you need these to run your RC's

Some manufacturers have manuals available to download from their website. Novak, for example, has alot but not some older models.

I liked to store copies of everything and make the club your 'one stop shop' but unfortunately our resources are limited, so know new sections I'm afraid.

As has been pointed out though, there is nothing to stop people using the forums to ask for any scans you would like and other members may have.

Maybe someone might even want to set up a spin off site?
