When you update your showroom, is it supposed to put you at the top of the list of showroom updates?

If it does, then my second question....Does it only put you there when you add a new car, or is it supposed to do it when you update an existing car? say for arguments sake a lunchbox that you had been looking for for ages, had spent lots of time and money on that you wanted to show off to people.....;>

At the moment you appear at the top of the list when you add models, not when you modify them (ie add pictures at a later date)

I've been thinking of changing this...

Yeah, it would be nice to change it.

I put my cars in my showroom when I first get them and then when I have finished it and it looks good I delete it and make a fresh upload so that everyone can see it because it then comes on the home page.

Bit sad I know but the whole point of the showroom is to show off your cars and if it does'nt come up on the list no one will bother looking at it.

I personally think this would be good not only cos of the afformentioned LB, but also because I have a bigwig that is currently undergoing some work and will soon be ready for the (tamiyaclub) world to see.

Its kind of nice to show people the projects that you have spent alot of time and effort (and money) on, Lord only knows my girlfriend has no interest in it, so it would be nice for some one to care....sob sob.

I've done this too on a couple of occasions, not sure if it's right or wrong. Posted my restored SS about a week ago by relisting it as my name was dissapearing out of sight down the showroom list!

its ok ginger, i too had loads of difficuly getting the link right!

Firstly go to the Tamiyaclub Downloads page and copy the code for the link you want, such as this,

<a href="http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=130" target="_blank">

<img src="http://www.tamiyaclub.com/images/logo_member2.gif" border="0" width="150" height="30" alt=""></a>

Secondly, because the forum doesn't accept this code, you have to alter it so it does, (maybe you could add this code to the download section Chris)[;)]

This is what it needs altering to, but replace all the round brackets "( )" with square ones "[ ]", also your id number will be different,

(url="http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=130")

(/url)

Hopefully when you've done this you should get,
