Morning all! My son recently got a Neo Scorcher. We built it together and used it for an afternoon. When we went to use the next day (on fully charged batteries) the throttle wasn't working. Steering yes but no throttle.

Having gone through countless youtube videos and forums resetting the ESC and checking all plugged in correctly we've all but given up.

Model stores are a little hard to find nearby - does anyone know of someone doing repairs/trouble shooting in the area?

Thanks!

What sort of ESC are you using (Tamiya kit supplied TBLE02s)?

What sort of RC equipment are you using is there a throttle hold or EPA adjustment?

Yes, Tamiya supplied.

I have gone through the manual and made the adjustments to the max settings, etc. LED on the receiver lights up correctly - as per manual. Just motor not turning - makes me think the motor has gone but was only used for an hour.

Does the transmitter have either EPA (End point adjustment) which allows you to reduce the output of channels from 100% to more or less - this can sometimes confuse the Tamiya ESCs if adjusted setting up the min/max settings on the ESC. You might what to check that you have the TBLE-02s ESC in the right mode to I assume you have a Brushed motor (with just two wires). It can be easy to put it into Brushless mode by mistake and the LED is difficult to differentiate between orange and red sometimes.

Also is there a throttle hold function on the Transmitter (usually used for petrol / glow fuel engines) but if the throttle hold function is set to 0% and turned on the stick or trigger for the throttle will have no effect - so check this.

The other thing you could try is connecting the battery directly to the motor to test if it is working  - but perhaps remove the wheels first as if it is working it will go straight to full throttle.

exact model details of the transmitter and receiver would be helpful if supplied as others on here might have experience of them.

thanks for the help guys...SOLVED.

I tried EVERYTHING! My fingers were numb the amount of times I pressed "Set" so I took a guess that it was the motor and got a direct replacement on Amazon...and hey presto it was! Weird eh! was only used for an hour in total...

Tried direct into the battery as well, nothing, totally dead....

Thanks again guys.
