Fri- Day off today, but a bit groggy after a week of nights, although a mountain of post arrived, including a dozen bay15d bulb holders and stop/tail leds for the Transam rear lights! 😁👍.

With an array of the kids presents all over the place, I've to try and find a way, of getting a shot of all the toys, without making it blatantly obvious, daddy just wants to play with them...😏

Sat - I'm 12hr dayshift weekend, and hoping it'll be quiet (🤞🤞🤞), take the bulb holders and rear lights in, and rewire them...

Won't be home until around 8ish, so grab a glass of bubbly, and see the bells in, before hitting the hay.🥳

Sun / mon- much the same as Saturday, but without the bells.

Another super boring weekend for me.  B)

Friday.. I went to my buddy’s salon this morning to get my hair cut after early morning house chores. I then proceeded to work on the new tool case I am making for Collin (Willy’s cousin) and a couple of spray bottles to use in my Kyosho Beetle display.  Evening I spent streaming a movie, but fell asleep about 30 min in.  lol..

Saturday.. after early am house chores, going to finish Willy’s tool case and spray bottles and proceed to making a plant for the Kyosho Beetle display.  Evening will be spent with family feasting on Alaskan king crab.  Then just before the New Years, we will have some noodles to welcome the new year.. this is a Japanese tradition.

Sunday..   mainly relax with family in the morning, then will proceed to work on the plant for Collin.. afternoon will be spent like any other weekend relaxing in my music room and streaming a movie in the evening.

Have a nice weekend and a healthy and happy 2023!  B)

Folded, and bought an M05.....

Came up for sale for £20, needs wheels, body and elecs, but @neowhizz has a spare mk2 escort body (not sure how a rwd body on a fwd chassis will go, but was an MX5 to start with, so....🤷‍♂️),and other bits and bobs, so I'll see how that goes..

Both aren't really worth saving tbh, so will need rebodied, but new ones are available at around £10k.

I was making fairly good progress with the TransAm, I'm needed daft stuff now, like the horn wire, and an axle bump stop, which at $4 are cheap, but the delivery of $50 that's the killer. Surgery, then -9°c and now Christmas, means progress has been slow of late, although, I've got my holidays coming up mid January, so..🤞

Heart breaking mate, hope you get to be with them more regularly going forward.

That's cheap! Parts are still plentiful for it so you should be good for a while 👍

Oh ok sorry to hear they are no good. It's a shame they can't be saved. The lady I am currently seeing has two Anglias, both the same colour. She bought one, and the other came up for sale which she thought was in better condition than the other, and just hasn't sold the other one, so still has two. They are currently at two different shops but she knows I'm good on the tools so I think she is going to get me to look after them once she gets them back.

Yeah it's the little things that are consuming, and the high shipping prices are off putting. I hear ya.

The previous owner of my truck wedged a head unit in the center console, ran the wires under the center of the carpet and to the speakers. He did this to keep the factory look radio and equaliser. I think in honesty it was just a cheap way to bypass the factory without pulling it out and not buying the correct kit (dash pocket, center dash head unit piece, and antenna extension) to swap to a aftermarket unit. I've hooked up the front speakers, but the rears appear to have been disconnected from the factory harness, and ran with the wiring he has put under the carpet. I have the left over home made wiring under the carpet to remove (it is just capped at the moment) and there is also two old alarm units under the dash and in the engine bay that don't work, and I don't have the key fobs for. One is a $5 two wire jobby, the other is this horrid old blue box with 30 odd black wires 🤦I also need to remove the old Helwig helper air bag compressor from in the engine bay, as it has never had the bags in the truck since I've owned it (previous owner removed), so going to need some time off work to go through all that.

But it's summer here, and there is a car show pretty much every weekend, so might be better to let sleeping dogs lie, so I can still use it, and not open a can of worms. Once I've done this, I would like to put a decent alarm with gps and remote start in it.

Saturday I went two hours north to a beachside town to look at the World's 1st Car and bike show. Being that NZ is generally the front of the time zone, the people that organise the countries biggest Car and rock and roll event have this cool little show that starts at 8am on New Years Day. We took the truck up, stayed the night with some friends, had beers and BBQ, and took in the event in the morning. Was an awesome way to break in the new year. Didn't take any pics sorry.

Woohoo and the clock strikes Friday 😃

BB2DBCA6-3115-4C74-9027-5FDE5C7E95CB.jpg

I think I’ll have another piece of Yorkie to celebrate.

One more load into the tug boats yard to go tonight.

Back in this afternoon for my last nightshift.

Saturday will start with lunch out somewhere with Mrs RB. We are keen to try a burger at a new brewery opened in town. The owner has started up Wards Brewery that was in his family years ago. They have had a lot of framing done by us so would be rude not to pop in.

Hopefully later in the day maybe a bit more progress on the Turbo Scorpion. Still deciding whether to use the body decals or paint the blue section in 🤔

Might catch up with some mates in the evening that I haven’t seen for a while.

Sunday is clear at the moment but while our framing shop is closed for the holidays we can get a fair bit done around the house. Mrs RB has been doing a marvellous job of clearing out unwanted clutter but there’s still a way to go yet. Man we’ve been hoarding some junk.

Have a good one all.

That's a job that's been on our list for a while, and I'm useless at it. I'll spend longer digging through the 'unwanted pile'  with , "oh wow, my 1983 Batman annual, cooool" , and start flicking through the pages.....🙄

My eldest daughters birthday on Sunday, but apart from that, 12hr nightshift weekend, means not much in the way of anything really.

It's Friday again!  Woohoo!

Friday - got the chaos of the school run in 20 mins, followed by a long calm day.  Yesterday was a fast day, so looking forward to a proper breakfast when I get back from school.  5:2 isn't the easiest diet but it's like having 2 Christmases per week.  Quiet morning WFH, then try to get out for an 8 mile walk this afternoon, followed by pizza and beers in the studio working on the novel.

Saturday - Workshop Saturday.  A lot of my bigger recent projects are finished now, so I can start clearing the decks for something new.  I might experiment with some 1:10 body options on the Buzzsaw Extreme, see if I can get the Gool RC ESC working properly in the MTX-1, and maybe made a shelf to display my big rigs on.  Evening is uncertain, either work on the novel or stream a movie.

Sunday - Christmas 2.0.  As lots of us were sick over the original Christmas, we decided to postpone the main event until this weekend.  That means I've got to cook the entire Christmas dinner all over again, except this time with a bigger turkey.  There was literally only just enough space for everything last time, there's no way we'll get everything in this time, so somehow we'll have to cook the turkey first and then find somewhere to keep it warm.

Evening - Drink way too much red wine, finish the last of the Christmas snacks, olives and cheeses and pass out in front of a movie.

Have a great one, everybody :)

Yep, I’m pretty hopeless at clearing stuff out to @Wooders28, but it’s time to be ruthless.

It started out with our son who was here for Christmas sorting out, cleaning and boxing up Star Wars Lego. Turns out a lot of the era we have is worth some coin 😁. I don’t think the old Nokia stone tablets I found are as valuable though 😂

If you leave out the Brussels Sprouts @Mad Ax, then you may be able to fit everything in the oven then 👍🏻

The 5:2 diet your on is the the like the Moseley fast 800? Mrs RB has just started that again and finds it works really well for her.

Hope you are all feeling better now.

The sprouts have been on since October, it's the only way to cook them ;)

Yes, it's pretty much that.  For two days of the week, I just have 600 calories.  It's real tough, I'm pretty much hungry from the moment I wake up to the moment I eat the next morning, what meals I can have are mostly tiny, bland and tasteless and don't even touch the sides on the way down, but I find it way easier than any other diet I've tried, and I lost a lot of weight.

I don't really do it as intended, in that I still eat like crazy 5 days per week (I could probably lose a couple more kilos real quick if I brought my normal-day snacking and my weekend drinking right back, but that's why I fail at all the other diets I've tried) but this one makes me happier, I feel healthier, and I've lost (and kept off) more weight than any other diet I've ever tried.

I temporarily ditched the 5:2 just before Christmas because I didn't want to compromise my holiday - it can be hard to plan a week of family visits and parties (which we missed due to illness) when I can't eat anything on the menu - but despite the Christmas dinner, all the leftovers, snacks, minced pies, cream, home-made fudge and brandy butter, I put on 0.2 of a kilo over the 10 day period, because (according to the logic behind the diet) my body isn't in starvation mode and won't try to store every single calorie it gets.

For me, yet another boring weekend in the works.  B)

Friday.. WFH.. between work, I fixed the plant I was struggling to make with encouragement from Ms.Hannah Lemon (pro miniatures creator, photographer)..  she mentioned she was impressed (?) how I was able to shape the plant as I did using styrene, but I knew it was not enough to take it to her level.  Not that my finished product is, but with input from my wife who is an award winning crafter in her youth, she gave me pointers to forget trying to shape the existing leaves and add highlights and lowlights and change it out dramatically by color.  I did exactly that, added two more stems with leaves with with max curvature possible mechanically, then painted, and toned it all down with Mr.SuperClear to matte it.

I think it looks okay now..atleast not like those plastic imitation leaves included in sashimi/sushi packages.   haha!   ..

Since I pretty much used up my energy fixing the plant, I am going to take it easy rest of day.. play some tunes in my music room later and watch TV in the evening.

Saturday... after early morning house chores, I need to do the central HVAC quarterly maintenance and vac the storage space in my basement.  After that, will decide to crack open the 420X or Fantom..and start the build.  Afternoon I plan to stream a movie in my piano lounge with snacks, play some tunes in my music room later afternoon, watch TV in th evening before calling it.

Sunday.. basically a rubber stamp of Saturday without the chores and maintenance work.

Have a great weekend everyone!  B)

It's Friday!  Anybody got anything interesting going on?

Bit of a quiet one for me, this week.  Well, I say "quiet"...

Friday - WFH this morning, then mosey around at home in the afternoon.  Wife is going out tonight so I don't have time for a walk before the school run.  Will probably help clear the Christmas decs (late, since we had our Spare Christmas last weekend) then get a couple of hours in the workshop.

Tonight - homemade chilli and nachos and a movie.

Saturday - lazy morning at home, then need to walk the small human into town for some new daps (apparently people outside of the Westcountry call them plimsols) and new shoes for myself.  Then since we're in town already we might as well go to softplay, to which I shall be taking my laptop and my earplugs so I can get some work done while she is doing whatever it is small people do in padded rooms (whatever it is, it seems to involve lots of noise).  Since the shoe shops close around lunchtime, and the softplay centre doesn't allow food to be brought in from outside, this unfortunately leaves us absolutely no choice whatsoever but to buy food from their café.  I'll have the Full English All-day Breakfast.  (I might smuggle in some chocolate bars, because 95p for a Twix is beyond daft).

Gotta be home in time to roast the chicken for dinner.

Evening - not sure, maybe some writing or work in the studio, maybe catch up on some TV series.  Possibly mask the HoBao rallycross body if it looks like good spraying weather on Sunday.

Sunday - depending on the weather, I might get up before dawn (not hard this time of year) for a sunrise walk on the hills.  Or maybe I'll drive to the coast for a long walk in the salty air and some fish & chips.  Or maybe I'll just spend all day in the workshop finishing the chassis for the new leaf-sprung 2.2 monster.  Maybe throw some paint on the rallycross body.

Evening - mostly depends on how I spent the day, but probably spend the eve in the studio working on the novel, and/or designing the graphics for the rallycross body.

Have yourselves a great weekend wherever you are :)

Yet another super boring dud of a weekend for me.  B)

Friday... WFH.. I was at the office yesterday for my money making gig so things should be pretty quiet today.  I got the early morning house chores out of the way and did a few honey-do's so now I can concentrate on RC.. will start off finishing up the NBR STI body I've been working on the last couple of days, install front ball diffs on the 420X and take it out for a drive.  Afterwards going to assemble 2 Billy's and the red trolley I got off eBay/Amazon.  I realized I can make casters out of styrene pretty easily using tubes after doing the hydraulic jack, I think I am going to make a batch.  This way I won't have to use up my damper spacers as I did the last few times forcing me to buy trolley kits.  Afternoon and evening will spend some time in the music room and watch TV before calling it.

Saturday.. After early morning house chores, going to drive my various m-chassis on my make shift track.  The EVA foam finally dried up from the release oil (took 2 years of normal use) and my onroad tires are starting to grip well.  I think it is at a point I can flip the EVA over without worrying about staining the wood flooring to get the max trip similar to Kyosho's Mini-Z track.  It's the back side that I am after.  Off-road cars drove fine because of the spikes and paddles.. it dug into the texture of the foam and grabbed it well.

Afternoon will relax in my piano lounge, watch a movie with snacks.  Then later I will make a couple casters out of styrene for future projects, play some tunes in my music room, watch TV before heading to bed.

Sunday.. if I feel like it, will start the Kyosho Fantom.  Timing wise perfect as my makeshift track is ready for onroad and I've been wanting to try foam tires on it,  If not, will continue in with my styrene casters or whatever I feel like building.  Afternoon a rubber stamp of Saturday.

Monday.. we are off, so will continue on with a rubber stamp if Sunday.  :D

Have a great weekend everyone! B)

Thought I kick this off early as it’s kinda Friday for me and my ‘off’ days are lined up with a weekend which is always a bonus and it’s finally stopped raining.

So no more of this for 4 days…

Or this…

But the legend that is Mario of Rosslyn Bay servo gave a rain jacket out of sympathy while delivering, which was nice of him..

Feels like I should be sucking on a Fisherman’s Friend though 🤣

Today kicked off, once I had returned to the land of the living from nightshift with a trip to a Dr’s visit. At least it was a good chance to turn the wheels on the Motorbike.

B4FFD02F-6130-411A-AD1F-C53D5911026B.jpg

Always puts me in a good mood going for a pleasant ride.

Tonight will be a pub dinner and a few drinks with some mates. I feel a big juicy steak coming on there.

Our framing shop is open again after the Christmas break so I’ll be doing a bit in there for 2 days helping Mrs RB.

Catch a movie or 2 with her in the evenings.

Sunday hopefully take the recently finished Turbo Scorpion out for some photos and maiden run. Might even take the Street Scorcher along too.

Thats about it for me, have a good one all 👍🏻

For me, my usual super yawn boring weekend coming up.  B)

Friday.. WFH, will work on the Kyosho Fantom decals after early am house chores.  I hope to finish the car over the weekend.. given the mini servo arrives.  Then will relax and watch TV or stream a movie in the evening.

Saturday.. will teach my son how to drive MT on my WRX after early morning house chores, and will continue working on the Fantom given electronics arrive; if not, will drive my m-chassis and maybe start another plant using styrene.  Afternoon will be my usual watch a movie in my piano lounge with snacks, play some tunes in my music room, and then watch TV in the evening.

Sunday.. basically a rubber stamp of Saturday.

Happy Friday everyone!  Not too much planned for me.  I've only managed 3-4 hours sleep per night for the past 10 days and I'm struggling to function as a normal human now.

Friday - WFH, I've been off for a few days with back pain, which means I haven't been able to work extra hours for an early finish.  But probably get done around 3-4pm, then tidy up the house and put on a curry (from a jar) for when the child gets back from school.

No walk for me today, the wife is on a night out with the local mums so I'll stay in, eat curry and probably stream a movie

Saturday - Workshop Saturday (for a change), I probably should get out for a walk also to help my back.  I may soon be stuck on the 2.2 leafer due to lack of parts (and lack of cash to order parts), but there's hundreds of other little jobs I can finish off.

Evening - probably either work on the novel or catch up on some TV series

Sunday - daddy/daughter day while the wife is out at some craft / antiques fair thing.  No solid plans, I can't do anything energetic and being out in the cold at 5-year-old pace won't help my back, so we'll probably chill out at home.  Maybe see if there's a cake mix we can cook together as I need lots of comfort food right now.  Still got her Super Storm Dragon to finish, if she wants to, or if she wants to go do her own thing (she's been doing that a lot recently) I can finish the CC01 lowrider I started building on Weds.

Evening - pizza and TV, probably.

Righto, have a fab one, I'm off to chisel the ice off the van ready for the school run

(I am not 12, I am a grown adult, so will refuse to make any comment...🍆🙊🤣🤣🤣

Been off all week, and suppose my 'Christmas holiday' , (so feet up and drinking? , urm I wish!!)......

Couple of jobs ticked off, fitted spring loaded hinges to lounge and kitchen doors (heat just disappears up the stairs, and no one can seem to close a door.....) , started clearing out the garage, as its just been a dumping ground for empty boxes, and 'stuff', so we could get family actually in the house over Christmas, and for my eldests birthday, (stuff dumped on top of the project cars clocks, and broken a pointer, so I was really happy about that....😠)

Figured I'd have the house free to crack on, but we're back to the usual winter lurgy ,so eldest off school mon/tue, youngest off on Wed, and a teachers strike yesterday!!..🤦‍♂️

One of the other jobs, was to fit a new oven, the old one randomly just dropping the temp (set for 220°c, and an on shelf temp gauge reading 90°c) , and we've not been happy with it since we moved in. Seemingly a plug in, so only a 5 min job, tops? Isn't it?

After pulling the kick plate off, and looking into the dark ,spider web abyss, pulling the plug from the single socket, to find, this gem ,running the fridge freezer and oven......😱

2023-01-20_07-04-45

Luckily, a mate is an electrician and back on shore for his 'Christmas holiday', so we had to ,for all intents and purposes, rewire the one side of the kitchen....🤦‍♂️

Decided to take the wife's car to pick up the recently purchased ,.£20 ,M05 .....

2023-01-19_01-35-29

Couldn't refuse, with nip spares too!! 😀

Low pressure tyre light came on, so pulled over and pumped it up (12v halfords tyre pump in the boot, something i keep in all my cars), came on again on the way home, (why not🤷‍♂️) so off to the tyre place for them to check it over, wee puncture repair and a tenner ,so can't grumble too much.....

Today!

With a bit of the garage clear, going to try and clear a bit in the eaves (the usual stuff, full 2.5" stainless x pipe exhaust, door cards I'm only keeping as a template, spare dash , chrome windscreen trim etc etc....)  and fit some bike pulleys that arrived yesterday, retrieve mine and my wife's bikes from the in-laws garage (a few heavy hints have been dropped about bikes being in the way, that we've rubber eared so far.....🙉) , part of my private physio/ return to work, was to swim or cycle (low impact exercise) although with ice and snow still on the ground, swimming might be the preferred option atm....

Sat,

A family day, swing park etc, hopefully without the lurgy🤒 🤞..

Think about dusting cobwebs off my race cars, check a couple of lipos for their storage charge (I've a dual and a single charge now, so can do 3 at a time 🙂)

Sun,

Meet up with a fellow tamiyaclub member at the Glasgow club, who's down here for a wee visit.🤝

Depends on the oven KW.

Under 3kw and its under 13amp (240v) so can be fed from a domestic socket...

Trouble arrises (apart from a cheap double adapter...), if there's 2 x 13 amp drawing off the supply, as a 2.5mm wire is only rated to 26amp, and a double ,although should be okay with 26amp, it's better not to push them past 20amp.

So, ended up running a 2.5mm through a fused spur , fed of the ring main, to a double pole switched single socket.

Yet another super boring weekend coming up for me. B)

Friday.. finished early morning house chores, will be WFH today.   I am going to assemble my GR Supra body for my drift car and continue practice drifting.. Probably get another 15-18 rounds today.  I am at a point I get frustrated when the car does not drift the way I want it to.. which means I am seeing a pattern and getting better.  :D  Just need to keep at it for another 979 rounds.  My practice minimum is 1000 cycles.. by then I should have enough experience and confidence that I can command rotation as I see fit.

I am going to also clean the EVA foam with soapy water to see if I can get rid of the last of the release oil or whatever is on the tiles.  Since I have been driving lines that are inconsistent to normal driving, I found that the drift tires picked up some oil making it slick for foam tires (Fantom).

Saturday.. after early morning house chores, will work on some honey-do's, but if not, will take my son out again for some MT driving lessons.  He is getting better to the point I think we can start taking the residential roads now. After that, going to work on my new Mini-Z AWD set up and test drive the car..and practice drifting.  I am expecting the upper CF deck for my Fantom to arrive, so will swap that, and possibly the ESC to a XR10 as I am finding the LeMans ESC is not very smooth..fine for high traction or off-road, but difficult to control once the rear tires start loosing grip.  I need to resolder the wires anyway to install the top deck, so will decide then.

If I'm in the mood, I will paint a fresh MiniCooper body for my XM1Competiton in the afternoon..if not,  it will be a rubber stamp of my usual Saturday with a movie in my piano lounge with snacks, then play some tunes in my music room, relax and watch TV in the evening.

Sunday.. will continue working on the MiniCooper body and practice drifting. I also plan to switch the ESC and motor on my white Optima MID to LeMans 240 ESC and motor combo.  I am doing a black version TurboScorpion soon, so want to use the 1060 and LeMans 490 off the MID on the fresh TurboScrpion.

Anyway, just another typical boring weekend for me.

Have a great weekend, everyone!  B)

My long weekend this weekend!

Yesterday was my youngests birthday, so set the house up with banners , balloons etc. She wanted a Hotdog stand for her party, which is alot cheaper than a McDonald's, so was happy with that 😊. Hotdogs, music with party lights and games, (plus a couple of bottles of plonk for the adults) was a good night! 😁

Plan is to get in the garage today and get a bit done on the 1:1. The temps risen to around 8°c, so warm enough to actually move my fingers, to solder wires. Really could do with the sensor pigtails I ordered from Rock Auto at the start of November, but tracking is saying ,they're still on a boat..😞

Tomorrow, is the Glasgow RC clubs AGM at the clubhouse.

Probably spend hours a̶r̶g̶u̶i̶n̶g̶ discussing tyre choice (Schumacher sponsored drivers get Schumacher tyres cheaper, and the Associated/CML sponsored drivers get proline...🤷‍♂️)  and then vote to keep the rule the same (Although, the Scottish Off Road Serise ,our Nationals, have gone with Schumacher Mezzo or Ballistic Minispike for the rear....).

Have a good one everyone!

Friday kicked off mowing the lawn back & front first up before it got to hot. Up in the 30’s celsius by mid day now. Followed by a cuppa with the mother in law.

Changed a dodgy receiver in my TT02R, then a steering ball connector broke while trying it out so it’s back on the bench again 🙄

Started nightshift in the afternoon, 1 of 4. Thursday was Australia Day Public Holiday and as it’s stopped raining work is busy. I didn’t get Thursday off like the day shift only guys so playing catch up now.

Had brunch with my daughter on Saturday before heading off for nightshift no. 2 it’s been another big one, 14 hours by the time I’m done.

Sunday I will finally be able to catch up with Mrs RB before nightshift no.3.

So nothing very exciting this weekend.

Friday over here again.

Last ‘day off’ for me though. I should be back in the truck tomorrow but while at home, and my daughter is here to, she just tested positive to Covid on a RAT test 🙄

I’ll have to test now and see where I’m at I guess and what I’ll be able to do 🤷🏻‍♂️

Earlier today though I did get some shelves up in the hobby room. Which is something I’ve been wanting to get around for a while. They’ve been up for an hour now and haven’t fallen down yet so that’s a good sign 😁

It was like this..

B5E99E4F-474A-473D-98EC-6F573601ED74.md.

Now like this…

DA684A67-E823-4450-9A3A-3FF3D8FCE008.md.

Feels better in there now. I’ll probably shuffle the cars around a bit more later, and I’m thinking about hanging a couple of buggies in the lower space on the wall.

I may have a chance sooner than I thought  if I test positive to and can’t go to work.

Have a good weekend everyone 👍🏻

It's Friday!  I completely missed last weekend's update, I was totally out of routine having been signed off work all week with back pain.  As a result I spent a lot of time in the workshop, and I still haven't found a moment to update the photos on here yet!

Anyway - what's going on this weekend?

Usual quiet one for me.

Friday - WFH, finish around 2pm and head into the hills for a walk.  Weather looks OK-ish and my health is much better so maybe I can get the full 8 miles in.  Back home for pizza and beers and (assuming my parcel arrives today) finish masking the 1:8 rallycross body while I watch some throw-away TV.

Saturday - Workshop Saturday, work some more on the 2.2 leafer monster and maybe start on the shock adaptors I didn't have time to make last weekend for the mod clod.  Probably have to come in early to cook a bolognese for the family before kicking back, either in the studio or in front of a movie.  I broke my 5-month dry spell on music production this week, I watched a heap of videos on how to mix electronic music in a DAW, came at it full of enthusiasm, and after 6 hours of completely reworking a piece of music I first released 12 years ago, it sounds like a bucket of mud.  Either I've fundamentally misunderstood some really important concept in the videos or I'm just plain doing it wrong.  The reason I gave up music in the first place is I could put in 6 hours and end up no further forwards, and my time is too precious for that.  So far the return to the studio isn't going as well as I'd hoped, so, either put more time until I crack it, or give up and do something else.

Sunday - wife is going to London to see Cirque du Solei, so I'm taking the daughter to see some relatives on the old family farm.  Hopefully they'll give me some work to do in the fields so we can take the Polaris out for an hour.  Home cooked food and a chance to vent about all the stuff that's happened this week (yeah, it's been a crazy one again), then home for bedtime.  Probably have a semi-healthy and early night as I have various errands and visits to do on Monday.

Have a great one, everybody :)

Is that still a thing over there?

One of the guys tested positive not so long ago, and phoned in. They asked if he felt OK, which he did, so they said, we'll see you at work in an hour...😬

- My day off this week, and had /have a list to get through, but got a text off the bank to say I'd gone into my overdraft, so needed to shuffle some cash, and get to the bank, to avoid fees.

Now it's bite for lunch, and pick the kids up from school in just over an hour...= day gone 😳

-I'm 12hr dayshift weekend,  so not much else but, work ,sleep ,work ,sleep until Wednesday.
