Hi all,

I finished putting together the chassis on my Mountain Rider the other day (working on the shell now). The motor seems to strain a bit under the gearing but she does move on 1/3 - full throttle. Gear shifting works ok when the car is moving though I could probably do with a stronger servo.

Anyhow I noticed that it comes with spare gears and a few other bits.. that’s both great ahd bad lol.. I’m guessing they expect them to wear.l and need replacing at some point.

I also noticed that I have two spare 1050 bearings and this is what I’m worried about. Pretty sure I installed them all as per the manual… now I did fit the slipper clutch hop up which came with one bearing that is swapped out. So that accounts for one of the spares… but the other? Does this kit come with spare bearings or am I going to have to dismantle the gearbox and check?  :(

Thanks.

Hmmmm. I had NO spare bearings in my Bruiser build. There is at least one point that uses 2 bearings together IIRC.... See my/others build thread(s)
