TA02 GPM alloy steering - for tub chassis?

Recommended Posts

I have started to build my TA02SW and was about to assemble the GPM alloy steering that I had bought. I couldn't figure it out, but I started to suspect that it's differences between FRP chassis and tub chassis, and that I have got a set for tub chassis?
This is the set that I have got: https://tamico.de/navi.php?a=75269&lang=eng

That is the correct one for the tub chassis. I found the middle bar link was hard to avoid binding and loosening itself. Needed thread lock or glue.

copy the stock instructions and then check clearance for the middle bar that slides between the gearbox and chassis.

Is the only difference the height/thickness of the arms? I see that it would sit way to low on the steering posts.
Does anyone offer alloy steering for FRP chassis?

There are sets for the frp chassis if that’s what you need- maybe someone else will have a link. I haven’t seen any in a while.

People do adapt either to fit- they are close but if you compare them closely they are different enough in a few points that it’s best to wait and find the right set.
