Idea what kind of models these are?

Recommended Posts

Because my request for the type of a Kyosho model was perfectly answered here, I try my other two finds where I could not find any information

Ideas again very welcome...

...impressive how fast I get such information! Great.

Is there any special platform where you are looking for vintage RC?

No, it's because I started RC in 1980 I can recognize certain things... the give away was the longitudinal motor/gearbox and the sand paddle tyres! The top car looks like an early Kyosho EP-4WD Fantom with the big triangle cut out in the top deck and switch position. Similar to the re-re's top deck.

The AYK 566B was one of the cars I so desperately wanted in 1982-3. The closest I got was a pair of the wheels and sand paddle tyres to use on my Rough Rider! (They didn't fit properly but I bodged it: and I've still got them in a box of parts from back then... split rubber, superglue and Humbrol gloss enamel). :D

AYK 566B as mentioned, and I'm pretty sure the top one is a Kawada Wolf.

I've owned both at various times, and foolishly got rid of them...

@martinjpayne was right, the first model is a Kyosho 4WD Fantom. Will be nice restore although the body is missing. At least I did not find it yet.

Thanks to all of you, now I am complete with my identifications.
