I may be wrong though. Still looks like a promising release.

I think you're correct - bit thin for a driveshaft upon reflection.

Doesn't mean it isn't 4WD - it's all in the camera angles and the lighting!

That would be cool if they made a modern frog.

DT-03 Neo Fighter was this basically was it not?

Wonder what TD could stand for. Or is it a trick and it's really a DT-4? (DT-04)...

TD = Top Dollar

Has anyone confirmed if that Instagram account is, in fact, in any way affiliated with Tamiya, Inc? The account name sounds a little fishy.

In any event, I am not a fan of the "teaser" reveal. If anything is actually unveiled by Tamiya on the 25th, I'll join in the armchair analysis then.

They've done a good job obscuring the images.

Looks like star dish wheels maybe?

In a couple of shots you can see some writing on the rear wing.  I can't make out what it says though.

The clear body sections are probably to show off the inboard front suspension.

Is it possible that Tamiya are starting to name their chassis with a T prefix for visible Tamiya name branding?  So instead of DT they've switched it to TD?

Of course this would be released now. I have been deciding on a birthday car and the Sand Scorcher has had top spot for ages, and then the TA08 was announced. Decided against that as been down that route with a TA07 Pro. Then was considering an Xpress XQ10, but then the TA07 performed so well it earned new shocks. Now this.

Looks interesting, hopefully its a DN01/DB01 type release, even if they don't bring back TRF buggies a decent mid range buggy will be cool.

the width of the front tyres says it's a 4WD model to me.

the fact it is called TD4 says it's actually the proper release of the Thunder Dragon that's taken so long to get to the shops :)

      Hi Jon,
In the linked image, I've simply moved the bar forward until it is centered directly over the rear shock tower (approx. 10.72mm) and kept the same height.  Is this what you had in mind?

Are still manufacturing the gear box clamp for Monster Beetle?
