Haha, yeah. I have both smal and Big girls (no boys 3 girls) and i hope that one day one off them will be hooked on this hobby as well, thats my Only Christmas wish any way. That way i can buy more kits and spend more time on hobby without feeling guilty, Win Win

From what I’ve seen so far- painting in those side windows makes for a much better looking car if you aren’t doing boxart.

Just need to finish the body probably going to keep it completely standard but what I have noticed is now much the steering servo moves so that and the alloy diff nut is the only options I'm going to add when they eventually turn up! also take the nut that seems to restrict the steering rate off,  I'm running a 13t brushed with 2c lipo (very quick) I just couldn't get the brushless wires to sit comfortably without rubbing or pushing on something so I wasn't that bothered wether it was brushed or brushless!

Well, I got the toddler interested, but now he's insisting I paint it 'like on the box, BLUE AND YELLOW'.

Goddamit

I had ambitions of some rad non-box art thing...

I kinda agree with the little one! I'm sticking to box art (a bit)

The ball diffs are really good in this kit. here is a ball diff assembly video from tamiya.

Slipper back to pre-order at Tower.  As of now my backorder still hasn’t been filled.  Going to be really upset if they made them available for general orders before filling all the backorders, but in this day and age I am surprised by nothing.

Well, gotta apologize I guess!  Got an email about 20 minutes ago saying Tower shipped my slipper clutch.

Are those Wing washers bolted on top of the rockers?

Yeah. So Tamiya list them on the hop up guide but they do not fit the wing mounts. So unless you can get different mounts for the racing wing this seems the place to put them  :)

Has anyone happened to find a brushless motor that fits. What I have lying around the side tabs are in the way.

Plenty seem to have. The Tamiya ones for really well, and I’ve got an old Speed Passion that should fit fine, both use bullet connectors on the end cap

Kit spur is 0.6 mod, slipper is 48dp.

Got building mine- and my brother the vgs. Painted it in translucent blue and backed with gunmetal. Colour has been amazing. So happy with it. So far a quick spin vs my regular top force evolution. Smoother transmission I’d say and seems more robust. Let’s see. A dialled in top force is great and balanced when there aren’t large jumps.
