I think the 'roof' you added may help some people like this more. :) Nice connection to the partial white stripes too.

Anyone have any lucking on finding the Universal Shafts hop up?

Nope. Have a couple of spares from other models kicking around, will see if they work.

I was lucky enough to get them off back order at Tower Hobbies, but they look to be back on backorder.  If you are in the US, it looks like Tamiya USA has them in-stock currently.

Has anyone tried this with a truck body to make a Stadium style truck yet?

Personally I'm not really a fan of how it looks but I must say lots of the paint jobs here look much better than box art.

I was going to start my build over the Christmas holiday. I'll have all the upgrades I ordered except for the slipper. That's ok, I enjoy wrenching on my cars.

That's the mount for a transponder. Decided to install it before I lose it :D

An egress or 2001 shell might follow the lines of the tub a bit better. That's a lot of material he's taken off the front sides there.

Saint Dragon is the obvious choice!

Is demand so high for this one? Tamico raised the price to 325 euro meanwhile (from 305). Whereas DMT in Austria keeps it at 299.

Noticed Tamico raised more prices. VQS from 269 to 305.

So far for Advent Angebote ;-)

Is anyone having issues with the holes not lining up in step 7 when attaching the gear cover? Everything has gone together smoothly... I'm wondering if I missed something.

Edit: I figured it out. It was some excess foam that was keeping part of the gear cover from seating correctly. Make sure you trim the foam well after installing.

A Main is raising prices in the US as well. We’re experiencing inflation and higher shipping costs, so as stock turns prices adjust. The VQS is up, the Tekno EB410.2 is up, and electronics are up a few dollars, depending on their popularity. As the retailers experience raising wholesale prices, the end user covers it.

Ah good. Was just about to suggest to check the foam.
