Installing magnetic body mounts...

What do you guys do to install the magnets on the underside of the lexan/poly carb car body? Are you using double stick tape?

I think shoo-goo is the glue of choice for that. 
Double sided tape would work too, something quality like 3M VHB or Tesa do a lot of good double sided stuff.

Shoe-goo seems to be the only choice. Double-side tape doesn't quite work unless the area concerned is perfectly flat, but usually there're ups and downs or curves so it just won't work to stick a flat-surfaced magnet.

If you ever want to try any unknown glue, be careful as most of their chemicals will "erode" the PS paint. The look will then be totally ruined even after re-paints.

Better try on a piece of scrap lexan with some paints on.

How about a strip of re-enforcement tape to protect the paint then sho go on the tape to secure the magnets?
