Changing pictures in showroom

I have tried to change some of the photos I have for one of my cars but I cannot seem to get it to work. I have followed the instructions and attached new photos over old ones, and when you go to the "edit car" page, the little thumbnail photos are the right ones. However, when you go to the main page the old photos are still there... and then to add to the confusion, if you double click on the old photo, the new one pops up?!?!?! Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

There are a couple of forces at work against you here....

One is caches, either on your machine or at the isp you use. These can show you a local caches picture (ie the old one) instead of the new one. Generally these issues sort themselves out after about a few hours. You can clear your cache and try again, but this doesn't always have an effect if its the isp server that is doing the caching.

The other thing is I think there is a bug, at work but as far as i knew it only effect 5th and 6th pictures, sometimes. A number of members have mentioned this but I've not fixed it yet.

jepp, it's the same with one of my SS in my showroom - evidently it's the 6th picture. I've deleted my cache many times, but that haven't solved it. I edited the comment for the photo though, and that updated. So I guess it's the ISP then?

I guess the easiest way to go for now whenever this happens, is to remove the car from the showroom and add it once again...

I've found the same problem on my 5th and 6th pictures in my WW1 showroom. I'll probably scrap it and re-make it with the correct photos. Good to know it's not just me!

By the way Chris, this is in no way a complaint, I am still floored at how incredible this whole site is and greatful for its existence.
