Will the Tamiya Hotshot Rear Wheels fit the Tamiya Hornet if I purchase the Hotshot E part triangle hub? My concern was the axle maybe a different length.

No they won't. The axle is a different length. You can fit fox / wild one wheels with appropriate adapters though, which enable you to fit the hotshot tires
