teknova 0 Posted July 26, 2021 I am seeking an in car switch for a MRC 2s-75 radio control system. It has male pins on the plugs that go into the receiver contrary to the typical female plugs on Futaba and others. Attached is an picture of the servo plug. Let me know if you have one for sale or trade. Or if you have ideas how I could work around it with a futaba or airtronics switch. My rig with lengths of paper clip into one of those isn’t great. Sir Crashalot 235 Posted August 6, 2021 I think there's three options. 1. Replace the switch with another brand that has the correct female plug. 2. Cut the wires and solder another plug on. 3. Use two female connectors (as shown below) to join the male pins on the plug and in the receiver. Crimp one end onto the plug pins to convert it to a female plug. The plug may protrude from the receiver and may cause issues when plugging/unplugging as the crimp won't be very strong. Or you could just rip out all the radio gear, chuck it in the spares box and get something newer.
