Plasma Edge With Smaller Tires Gearing Questions

I have a set of these 12mm hex road tires that bolt right on to my Plasma Edge. I was thinking of taking it out for a bashing. How much will this change in gearing affect the motor? Will it overheat? Should I change the pinion gear? Thanks for any info.

Your motor should run cooler with the smaller diameter tyres, you will have a lower top end speed, you would be able to increase the pinion  gear tooth count if you wish with no detrimental effects.

Given that you have installed touring car tires, it should be perfectly fine to go up to the stock spec of the TT02 touring, which is a 22 tooth pinion.
