Lamborghini brings back the Countach

My favourite car of all time is the Countach. And to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the original car being announced to the world Lamborghini are bringing to the market a limited edition modern version, mechanically-based on the Sian.

Thoughts?

Although I like it a lot, and there are clear nods to the original styling, it's a bit too "safe" for me, and looks a bit too much like the Aventador. Countador would have been a better name, lol.

The original car was utterly outrageous, yet still beautiful and that's what this one should have been too, but Lambo have missed the mark here.

Mind you, I will still have one if I win the lottery.

For me it's not about the absolute highest performance; I just want a sexy car, engaging to drive, nice exhaust note, enjoyable in the twisties, and will collect some smiles from onlookers.

There have been approximately 750,000 posts on DriveTribe about this thing in the past week. It's cool, but I'm not sure it's worth THAT much fuss.

I do like that it goes back to the original Countach shape without the added flares and wings. That has always been my favorite Lamborghini.

Though that line of Miuras is awfully pretty, too. I'll take the orange one, please...

Agreed.....if I looked even 0.5% as cool as this id be infinitely happier
