This morning I mentioned my two Ebay auctions on the Ebay forum. Two auctions with a few hours to go and still a very low bid; might be interesting to TC members....

After an hour or so my post was removed. Don't know why.........[:(]

The desciption clearly states you can plug your auctions besides other purposes like mentioning bargains or discussing auctions....

Hi Pointy

Sorry that was my fault, hadn't realised they were your auctions. I did email you via the forum though - did you not get it?

I thought you were just highlighting two auctions that looked like they were going for bargains. Which on the surface seems a great thing to do for fellow members, but we had a few problems a while back and its now one of our rules that we don't do that. Basically it might look like you are doing some members a service but pointing them at cheap auctions but at the same time you might be doing a great dis-service to those members that already had thier eye on them.

All that said if they were your auctions, then there is no problem at all and I apologies for my mistake. Please post the links again. Although looking at both cars I would imagine that the prices will shoot up toward the end anyway - I bet a lot of members have them on thier watch list

Cheers and sorry again

No problem at all [:D]

I won't post them again. I also expect them to go up a little anyway. Let's wait and see [:D]

My mistake that I didn't clearly state they were mine. I still have to update my profile and add my homepage and Ebay ID.....

Thanks for the quick response and mails.

Marc
