I got this from a UK seller for my FAV.

Is this a reproduction set?  It has the right parts number, but obviously it's not in Tamiya's dual-star packaging.  Considering how the Japanese people are obsessed with packaging, I doubt that they'd sell like this in Japan.  I suppose it doesn't matter either way...

I haven't seen the FAV re-re tyres , but the small part number sticker looks correct from parts I've had . The main sticker could be genuine but I've not seen one of those before

They are genuine re-re Buggy Champ/FAV tyres. I bought a pair hornet rear tyres from the Tamiya Plamodel Factory in Shimbashi during my last trip to Japan that were in that type of packaging.

When I was in Japan I have also bought many other parts and tyres from shops that are in that style packaging. It seems that is how Tamiya package items that are not given a normal spare part or option part number.

That's a common sticker from Japan. They've had those for decades, I've had vintage parts with those on. I've got an original clod body with that decal on it.

The rere front rough rider tires are a bit smaller in diameter to the originals.

Wow, I did not know that!  I would have thought, if anything older ones would shrink in time.
