cambragol 152 Posted August 27, 2021 Hi all, I am trying to track down the identity and any other useful information regarding the hop-up in this image (It is the gold sway bar support and sway bars/stopper etc.) I thought I had tracked it down once, but I can't recall or find the info I had. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks in advance if anyone does!

toyolien 6540 Posted August 27, 2021 Oh wow. Looks nice. I do wish there were a few manufacturing/engineering companies that would put some time into making hop ups for the re-release cars. Even Tamiya could do it.
cambragol 152 Posted August 28, 2021 There are a few, here and there. Mostly just shock towers or bumpers. It is just economics though. Even with this seeming boom in RC interest, there can't be that many people hopping up re-releases. Or are there...? Here in Japan there was a news story recently about how Tamiya is doing well, because the pandemic has caused a resurgence of interest in modeling, and in particular RC cars. Regarding this piece I tracked down. It was hard to find info on it. I thought that there used to be some kind of parts database for hop-ups somewhere on the web, but I never tracked it down. I am surprised there isn't one here, at least for Tamiya related hop-ups. Or did I miss it? Even just a thread/info area for Hotshot/Supershot/Boomerang related models might be nice. I suppose one could just be started.
