Only problem with the "to make it stand out from the crowd theory" is that, if its true, then eventually everyone will do it and we end up with a board of threads in capitals...

myself, I most often use lower case letters (when playing around, not when proper grammar is called for)), although not grammatically correct, I like the looks of it better, so I will not go with Jezirccars 'forum trend trick' []
