Anyone have any experience with this website?

https://teambluegroove.com/pages/contact-us

I'm thinking of ordering a body but want to know if they are legit.  It doesn't say where they are based in the contact info.   If you know that'd be helpful.

Thank you,

JS

If you order decals from MCI, you can combine with an order from TBG and save on shipping, etc.

No idea about their physical location, but they are real, as are their products. One of them is sitting on my Thundershot:

I dig those HPI Mesh wheels on there...

Can you post some pic of your wing mount???

Sure! The injection moulded pieces are Ansmann Mad Rat parts, mounted via a vertical plate of my own design.

Here it is with the prototype plastic vertical plate:

I then had the plate cut in carbon by Fibre-lyte:

I ordered a couple so as to have spares on hand, but the original hasn't broken yet.

Here is the assembly mounted to the Schumacher Talon wing:

And fitted to the car:

The top pair of screws attach the plate to the Ansmann pieces, the middle pair go through the shock tower and plate into the Ansmann pieces, and the bottom pair attach the plate to the shock tower, giving a nice stable arrangement.

Just keep in mind one thing when ordering from them:

The bodyshell you'll order is not in inventory, they'll do it and it may take some time.

They mold everything to order, and they give a ten day lead time.

Sabula tech also sells shells for less than TBG, but their offerings are far fewer. They do claim to have many original Bolink molds in their possession.

Edit: I thought Sabula had some Tamiya repro shells, but they sell none. Lotsa Losi, if you’re looking for those.

Thanks Turnip!  Brilliant!  Mind if I steal your idea???

Go for it! Fibre-lyte should still have the wing mount plate on file if you want to order one, and there are plenty of Ansmann/Team C T02025/T02108 wing mount parts on eBay.

Sabula Tech shells are great, and yes, they are the old Bolink molds. They took off the Bolink logo, but they still have the "BL-" part number on the offcut.

They have the Bolink beetle shell as well as some cool oval racers. Sedans and trucks.

They are in Ontario and are related (as in they are brothers) with MCI Racing decals, hence the link up with shipping.

As stated, everything is made to order, but I don't think anything I've ordered has taken more than a few days before shipping. It might sound like a negative, but it's actually really good as it means you never have to wait for something to come into stock, if they list it you can have it!

I haven't tried L&L yet, but out of Penguin, Kamtec and TBG I rank them the highest for quality, and they also have a much bigger range of bodies.
