cambragol 152 Posted September 18, 2021 That's the only time I do it. Kids take their RC (grasshopper), charge the battery at the lodge, take it for a spin over rough woods terrain every few hours.
Ferruz 11554 Posted September 19, 2021 I do long trips and car camping with my wife (just the normal car, set up as a "bedroom") and always bring the Hornet along
cambragol 152 Posted September 19, 2021 Nice shot! We define a course near the campsite (past the stump, around the big tree, back up the incline etc.) then see who can have the smoothest runs with the biggest airs/least crashes.
Big Jon 684 Posted September 19, 2021 I often take a crawler when we go car camping, and use it as my hiking companion. I enjoy tougher and longer hikes than my wife or usual camping friends. I don't bring anything too speedy, because I don't want to be a pest. I'd really like to do a two night backpacking trip with a crawler, but I can't figure out how to carry 30 miles worth of batteries, camping supplies and food. My regular trail rig weighs about 11 pounds, so I'd probably want to bring a lighter weight rig in case I have to carry it out.
Busdriver 6207 Posted September 19, 2021 Does a lodge count. Off to the New Forest with The Brat WRC, CC01 Wrangler and the Amarok WT01-W . Thought those three would cover most bases. Woodland trails, rocky riverbed, dusty sports courts and some dirt roads.
El Gecko 1329 Posted September 20, 2021 Not yet, but I plan to bring an RC the next time we go
