Hello,

i nerd a better Motor fory my Lunchbox.

The last Time i used the black Sport tuned Motor and it was perfect.

But they are pricey now.....

Carson has a new Cup Machine:

Dors anyone has any experience with that motor?

The old cup machine was garbage....

Out of curiosity...

Why not get a modern Sport Tuned? From what I hear they're a little bit better than the black can ones. Not that expensive either.

@alvinlwh Sorry, i didn`t saw that topic.

But is good to know that they are designed for Tamiya ESCs.

The specs say that they have 400 rpm more than the old Black Can, but only half of the Tourque.....

AND i didn`t made a good choice with the first Cup Machine i ordered because it wasn`t any better than the Silvercan in my Opinion....

@deadmeat

Why i don`t want to use the new Sport tuned Motor?

Because it is to expensive for me, i?m poor :D

The new Sport tuned costs 30 Bucks on Amazon and 20 on Ebay with 10 Bucks Shipping....

So it is 30 Bucks for a not very fast Motor.

I do not have any local Hobbyshops where i could get them.......

Years ago i`ve ordered 5 Sport Tuned Motors for 15 Euros each including Shipping. (one was stolen with my old lunchbox, a Transmitter with a Load of christals and my best Battery.....)

Nobody wanted brushed Motors back then, i shoulda have ordered more of them.

Modellbau Härtle sells them for 15,99€ +5€ shipping to Austria. Still not the cheapest motor that way, but way less than 30€.

Hobbyking sells CHEAP brushed motors under the “TrackStar” name. Like, under nine Euro kind of cheap.

They also sell Mabuchi silver cans for under five Euros, but you have grind the grub screw flat yourself.

They always charge shipping so that might be an issue if you’re avoiding that.

Also didn't see the 370. Wasn't even aware that Tamiya had the same name on motors with different sizes... But you can return them and the seller has to give your money back (except shipping).
