minijosh 0 Posted June 9, 2003 Mine is easy. I love to play a online video game called Phastasy Star Online and got tired of seeing my name Joshua running around. Since alot of robots don't have names but serial numbers, I decided to change some letters into numbers hence J05Hua. The 0 is a zero and a 5 for the S. Looks good to me. And if you email me, minijosh will come up because I like mini's.
Type49rs 0 Posted October 22, 2003 If you are a fan of British fords then you have probably guessed what my user name means. Type 49 was the name given to the reinforced body shells used in the construction of MK1 RS Escorts. As I am a major fan of rear wheel drive Escorts (MK1 & MK2), I thought 'type49rs' was appropriate.[]

Stickman 1 Posted October 22, 2003 Hi, Being in a band and having a freebie MSN website we (the band members) needed nicknames for the site, me being the drummer was Stick-Wielder (also my eBay ID), when I came to register on the TC site I modded it slightly to Stickman (cos I can never remember how to spell wielder!). Sounds very dull when you write it down![] Cheers Dave
mud4fun 1696 Posted October 22, 2003 mine is easy, Land Rover/off road fan for years, favourite past time used to be AWDC trials and greenlaning hence MUD FOR FUN shortened to MUD4FUN as username. Sadly, I have seen this same username used on some less than savoury sites (was testing to see if I could find my web site on google) and it ISN'T ME!! Seems to be quite a common username amongst 4WD owners - might have to change it.....

supergreg 1 Posted May 22, 2004 Mine is from the no longer existing website supergreg.com. See a mirrored version on the internet archive http://web.archive.org/web/20001018062623/....supergreg.com/ . (You have to copy and paste the complete link to your browsers address bar.) It was one of the coolest links you could send to friends or colleagues for some time. It was a great laugh about a guy who tried to be a performer in rap/hiphop music. As you can see on archive.org, he was not[]!!!! The website later revealed as a marketing plan from Levi's or Diesel or something. They tried to get most possible traffic to their website, only to switch it to a standard goods presentation later on. Great plan! I'm sure it was a big success for them.[^] The video (Da Number One) does not work on archive.org, but I put it up on my webserver just for you: http://www.infantile-insanity.de.vu/videos...eg_number_1.mov (filesize about 1 Meg) Enjoy!! mymonsterbeetleisbroken 16 Posted May 22, 2004 well [] when i joind tc last year my monster beetle was in several broken pieces on my bedroom floor[] everything on it was bust, the gearbox, the shell, body posts, shock mounts made out of sticky tape and super glue, the list goes on! i needed to post a topic hear in the forums but i couldnt unless i became a member, and this site looked so cool! i just wanted to be part of it asap - i had to think fast! so i looked around my room, i thought it needed to be something relivant to tamiya, and there was my poor broken beetle on the floor, so i thought of a name, my monster beetle is broken - but i thought thats a little loooooooong[] so i changed it to mymonsterbeetleisbroken, (can you see what i did there[]) still long i know[] do i have the longest name here? [] what does it mean to me? well it means i bought a lemon of a truck that breaks all the time, but i love it !!!

Hillman666 2 Posted May 23, 2004 My user name comes from when I owned a Hillman Imp variant called a Sunbeam Stiletto. It had a 666 number plate. So when I was trying to think of a user name relevant to me so that I could register on ebay I came up with Hillman666. Its a bit boring really but it does it job! Plus I cant think of anything better to change it to! Also people think I worship the devil which is funny! [}][}]
Snake Plissken 0 Posted May 23, 2004 my name is actually the name of a character from my all time favorite b-movie "escape from new york" (by John Carpenter) made in the early 80's. Snake Plissken is the hero (or actually the anti-hero) in this film (played very nicely by Kurt Russell) who acts really cool all the time and don't give a f@ck about anything. I'd like to think of him as my 'alter ego'... sorry but it has nothing to do with tamiya.. btw: don't bother watching the seqeal/remake "escape from la"- it's a real ****.
