Hey. I'm from Richmond, Va, and I have been 'collecting' (more or less just getting cars, but it still counts, right lol) for about 2 or so years. I got into the hobby with an Duratrax Evader BX. then I got a Venom Mini Giant (now discontinued, but it's asian/european brethren are still availible). soon after came me RC18T, which I hopped up a bit. then, for my next birthday, I got a Mini-Z overland, which I broke the left fromt steering knuckle and left rear shock mount on the tranny, and I haven't really gotten around to getting replacements yet, tho I did do a hack job CA glue fix on the shock mount. after a while I got a Traxxas Stampede, then about 3 or so months later I got a Mini LST (yup, it was one of the first batch ones, the LHS had only had them for about 2 weeks). then, a few weeks later, I got my first kit: a Tamiya TL-01RA Subaru Impreza WRC Great Britian 2004 kit (the one with dish-star rims and buggy spike tires) and built it, during which I discovered that E-clips are not my friend. after a while I got a Novak XRS speed control, then I got a Epic Bianiary 2 outlaw pro motor, and a Hitec HS-625MG servo, which I soon discovered will not work with any tamiya made servo horns, so I got a Kimbrough servo saver, some oil shocks, some shock oil, and some AE FT TC3 silver springs that I decided against using. while my TL-01 was still sidelined, I picked up a well used TA-03F pro hat has a really crap servo glued to the chassis, and it was missing a few parts. it also came with a motor that had a black can, but I have yet to determine whether it was black from the factory or black from the iron filings that covered it. I used the TEU-101BK ESC that was left over from my TL-01, dropped in the stock silvercan, and got a traxxas 2015 RX for it so that I wouldn't have to buy a whole 'nother radio for it. at this point, it moves under its own power, and I now know what a runaway is like, only this was on mostly dead batteries and at about 3 MPH, but still. that about sums it up for me. I am looking for a Kyosho Mini Baja or Mini Stocker also, and I might be willing to trade my TA-03F for one, once I figure out what condition it's in and maybe put new oil in the shocks. contact me if you are interested in a trade or to sell the mini baja/stocker to me
