SCORCHER KIDMember since:24-September-2006

I originally had a Scorcher in 79 as a christmas present, having found it in my mum and dads loft I decided to sell it on ebay but, after restoring it to its former glory and being bitten by the bug ( so to speak ) I changed my mind and bought another and another etc etc.......

After spending 24 years in the motor trade as a vehicle refinisher I now work in the aerospace industry metal finishing and spray painting jet engine components. my collection now includes SRB's (mainly mk 1's) , super champs , hilux's & blazers ...
for the past few years I've also been restoring examples of the 58001 934 & 58002 935 Porsches which has been a eye opening experience ,financially & mentally !!

I have been viewing this site as a guest for over 3 years since I started restoring. After being in contact with another Sheffield Tamiya enthusiast Wayne ( Jeffy) he suggested I subscribe to the club to share my collection.
Any spare time is now spent restoring original vintage specimens including top end paintwork on hardbodys......
