First got interested in Tamiya cars by my uncle, who had a Rough Rider - I was hooked immediately! My first car was a hornet back in the mid 80's. Ran that into the ground, and replaced it a few years later with a Super Sabre. After shooting the gears on the SS to hell with a Dynatech 01R and a faulty MSC that went from off to full with no in-between, I got into Tamiya F1. Had a Mansell Williams, raced in the Tamiya Euro Cup a couple of times in the 90's (got absolutely nowhere!). Other things such as girls and work got in the way for the next 10 years or so, but I got back into the game when I spied the re-re Frog.
