My name is Tobias. The first time I got in contact with RC-cars was at the age of 8 or 9 years, when I saw someone driving a rc-jeep (maybe was a Wild Willy I) across the streets of Norderney (island in the NorthSea). It was the owner of the local hobby-shop doing promotion for his shop. Fortunately, I managed to convince my parents to buy me a Kyosho Scorpion, which was then one of my favourite toys for a few years. About 25 years later my little son found the remnants of the car in a closet in my parents' house. So I set off to restore the old Scorpion to running condition...
To have a ride as long as the old car was dysfunctional my son and I bought a Tamiya Wild Willy II. Then we needed another Scorpion because my son also wanted to have one. Then we wanted to have cars that are more robust than the Scorpions so we bought some Blitzer Beetles. And so on...
