Been flying scale rc planes for the last 16 years (and only electric powered and scale for the last 6 years of that). I've been living in central London for the past 7 years and have been frustrated by the lack of stick time as the Capital isn't ideal for flying rc models, even electric one's! Then in the summer (2008) I was at a car boot sale that happened to be hosting a local R/C cup race, well that was enough and I remembered that I had a Grasshopper when I was a kid so I went online looking for something scale and off road-ish and found the Tamiya Hummer. Enjoying that so much but still wanting for more, I've now moved onto my second (a Brat). Now looking to build on the Tamiya collection. I think I'll only buy Tamiya as I like the building process and they make some really fine scale rc models.

Looking forward to seeing what the sight has to offer and gaining greatly from it and giving as much back as I can, maybe there's even a tamiya fan club in London!
