Hi All, I was hooked on RC cars from an early age at the moment I found an old model magazine in a second hand book store. The kits were primitive by todays standards but promised speed and excitement, a school boys dream; In addition a local club ran 1/8th I.C stock cars round an oval on sundays, at this point I wanted in. I took possession of a Holiday Buggy at 14yrs old as a christmas present and have kept back various tamiya from that era since for restoration and definitely nostalgia. After several years and several kits I have got the bug again, I hope to begin showing my endeavours for all to see. I would also like to take this opportunity to apologise now in advance to anybody who may consider my efforts of restoration to be blasphemous. There will be elements of each model that remind me of a certain memorable time in my life which is partly why I enjoy building them, and I will be keeping the traits that attracted me in the first place, however I am not TOO scared to modify or adapt parts for the image or look I want; Tamiya on the outside though. ;-] Projects I have on the go at the moment are: Sandrover, Holiday Buggy, Scorcher, Ford Ranger, Pilot Escort, King Black foot and a Clodbuster. Also a Tenth Technolodgy DTM and a Hpi RS4 MT x2 for bashing.
Love the club by the way, I have found inspiration from all the show rooms I have visited!
