I've been in to R/C since the very early 80's, owning several Tamiya and Kyosho cars and trucks over the years. I'm currently restoring my Holiday Buggy, my original Grasshopper and a very low mileage Super Champ. As well, I'm building a new Sand Scorcher, an NOS Monster Beetle I bought almost 20 years ago, and an original release Blitzer Beetle. As you can see, I have a bit of a thing for Volkswagens.

After a fire a few years back, wherein I lost most of my collection, I am slowly rebuilding my showroom to its former glory. In recent years, I've managed to collect a few models lost, and add some new Tamiya kits along the way. Much to my wife's chagrin, my collection is growing once again.

Though I still drive my vintage cars, the current re-releases have opened the doors to being able to enjoy the vintage feel, without feeling too bad if I damage one along the way.
