Hello and welcome visitors............ I've been in the R/C hobby since the early 80's and started racing in 1985 as a kid. The first car I remember having as a kid was the Wild Willy back in 83, and from much help from my grandfather we spent lots of time in hobby shops buying parts, hop-ups, and battery packs. Needless to say as a young kid with big dreams I spent lots of time in those shops staring, drooling, and day dreaming about those kits that I wanted back then. A couple years after that when I got a little bit older I mowed grass for local neighbors so I could save up enough money to buy a Hot Shot and start racing on backyard tracks............... Now fast forward 25 years later to today, and I am sponsored for racing both off-road and on-road at a professional level traveling all over the United States running Associated and Mugen products. With all the memories from the past it brings me to having a very strong desire to collect all the old vintage Tamiya vehicles that I use to play with back in the 80's because it reminds me so much of my childhood. Collecting all preserved mint sealed NIB kits I had and wanted as a kid is a great reminder of how the R/C industry use to be at one time many years ago...........
