I was given a Tamiya rough rider for my 12/13th birthday.. I ran it about in the garden and sadly broke many parts... repaired using d I y materials to keep me going as I had no idea where to buy parts.. eventually bought a fox, then a boomerang, and after that I had a thunder shot which I raced to some success..went on to race touring cars from team associated, yokomo, Team losi, X-ray, corally and many more. Retired from racing around 10 years ago, and now started to collect cars I like the look of, tamiya cars from my past.. and anything inbetween.
