I Started collecting and enjoying Tamiya R/C cars at age 14 i'm now 26. My first offroad truck was the Mudblaster. I have customised it with a new Parma Bronco Bodyshell painted in red and has been used & abused and stood up to the punishment and still looking good. My next Car is the Tamiya Skyline GT-R Nismo 4wd. I had that car for 8 years before I decided to get another and after buying a Mk4 Golf GT TDI, I saw a Tamiya Golf MK4 V5 kit on the bay and had to get one!!! I am running the body shell from the Golf on the Nismo chassis (to preserve the Golf Chassis) and running a Trinity Green Machine 2 motor & a MMC Hulk ESC. My last purchase and current project is to replicate my 1969 Cal Look Bug. So I found a Tamiya Porche Boxter M Chassis and fantastic Blue metalic body with shelby stripes on E Bay for £51.00 and have sourced parts like the body mounts and M chassis wheels / tyres and obtained a Beetle shell so the Boxter is undergoing a transformation. Everything can be put back to way it was keeping it true to Tamiya.
