I've been into RC ever since I was a small child, then later got into Tamiya during my teenage years - after a 20yr gap, i'm back!

My uncle bought me my first Tamiya in 1996 which was the Michelin Pilot Ford Escort RS Cosworth on the TA-01 chassis. Then in 2002 whilst working a few doors down from my then local hobby shop, I bought myself my 2nd ever Tamiya kit, the 2001 Subaru Impreza WRC (R. Burns/R. Reid) on the TL-01 chassis. After a 20yr gap I got back into Tamiya during lockdown and now I have a massive collection of mostly vintage Tamiyas - quite possibly the largest collection of 1:10 electric Subaru Imprezas in the world - thats x22 Subaru Impreza WRC cars including both number/driver livery options, also including the elusive Limited Edition (300 worldwide) 2001 Richard Burns TL-01 Finished Body. My cover photo consists of one of each of the different kit boxes for each release of Impreza., although it needs to be updated with my bnib XB version 2002 Impreza WRC.

I also have the full set of Ford Escort RS Cosworths, now, too! That's x6 cars inc. both Repsol drivers/numbers.

I'll mostly be sharing my Subarus, some already built and some bnib, but I'll also share my Escorts here along with some other cars and chassis i have as I've amassed quite a large collection now and it'd be a shame not to share them with you all.

Oh, lastly, I started a Facebook group in 2022 of the same name 'Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC' which is now host to over 600 members. Feel free to check us out!
