Been a Tamiya RC fan since 1992 after getting the Madcap as my first car. That one has long gone now after been used to destruction back in the 90's but still the proud owned of an original Egress (which started off as a Vanquish but been converted to an Egress) and the 1994 BTCC Mondeo which I'm currently restoring after many decades in my parents attic. I still run the Egress as often as I can and still using my original Techniplus transmitter, servos and receiver from 1992 but using a more modern Tamiya speed controller and batteries. Brings back happy memories.
