Been an avid model and Lego builder as a kid. Enjoyed wood and metal working all my life.
Started building Lego mods and mocs as BuWizz rc cars, trucks and tracks 3 years ago when my retirement began, and Covid broke out.
This year a full Tamiya rc set (tt-02) caught my eye. I ordered it since the price was right, but the Swiss supplier then couldn't deliver. Meantime I had found an excellent shop here in Switzerland who really know what they are doing.
Started with Blockhead Motors buggy as a beginners project. Great fun!
Now I just finished building and setting up a xv-02 pro Lancia Delta HF Intergrale with every hop up my engineering knowledge and skills found sensible. Go out into the woods, mark a track and let it rip!
There are two forms of racing I love to watch. Rally Sport the skill it takes as a driver to deal with all the muck and dust, plus the engineering side of it.
Second endurance racing.
All in all it keeps my mind and body busy learning as I go along.
Cheers!
