I've owned dozens of Tamiyas over the years. Started when I was young, about 10, then went on hiatus for a while, and now I like to build and restore some of the more well-known, classic models, like the Bruiser, Avante, Blazing Blazer, 959, etc. I seem to be drawn to the models where Tamiya took the technology over the top...I currently own a 959 w/Lancia Stratos body, all restored and in beautiful shape. I do run them occasionally; they're not shelf queens. Really, if you don't run them, what's the point?...
