I bought my first 1/10th scale buggy in 1987. It wasn't a Tamiya though. No it was a kyosho Ultima. This thing was quick and 1 year later I got another. After this I went through a number of kits from differing manufacturers including an Optima, a fox, hotshot, Kyosho raider and then I sort of left it for a while. Until last year whilst on ebay I saw a rocky for sale in The USA. I bought it, did it up and got it working fine. I always wanted one of those. My collection is small but growing.
I like to buy things and turn them into good runners. Shelf queens are fine but I really do want to use my cars. I intend to take each car as it comes and currently I have 5 cars all doing fine. I will add some pics sometime soon. I currently have the said Rocky, a Mudblaster with a blackfoot body but I have just bought a nice looking mudblaster body from a member, a hotshot, a thundershot and I am in the process of buying an unused original ultima. I am looking for my next model....a fox.

Ok so a few things are afoot. I bought a madcap and a Kyosho something or other...Nitro, not my scene. And am in the process of buying either a progress or a gallop... not sure until i see it???

My current list is as follows. Unused Mk1 Kyosho Ultima (ARRRGGGHH I so want to use it), Rocky, Mudblaster, Madcap, Thundershot/Terra scorcher and a Holiday Buggy... 'tis going to be good my fellows! HOTSHOT GONE!
