Back to movies

Inspired by ScoobyBens moviette, I thought I'd knock this together. Had big plans for it but realistically it was never going to go any further.

Was watching TV the other night and quite liked the opening sequence of a series on channel 4, so I shamelessly ripped it off. Hope it doesn't make you too sad. :)

EDIT: just so the comments make sense - this movie used to be titled BUST.

Sorry, this is a Flash movie. - You don't have flash installed.

Should I call the proper authorities about tamiya abuse, due to lack of use and various states of unfinish or Sally Struthers for the 'For just ten cents a day you too can sponser one of the neglected Tamiya's, ten cents will provide one vehicle with a fresh coat of paaint and put it on the road to repair' LOL Hey if you want or need to clean out your loft of a Blazer or Bruiser I will provide it with a good home.

You are a real ''Tamiya bunker'' !!!

Looks exactly like supergreg's loft with the difference that he lives in between all these parts.

Nice vid - man you have a lot of Tamiya classics up there. If you are anything like me you keep putting stuff up there and then forget what you have up there, and end up buying it again .

All part of the 'loft experience' though - finding stuff you had forgotten was up there!

6-Sep-2005

want to get rid of any of those. we cant not find them like that here in the states

netsmithUK

7-Sep-2005

I prefer to think of it as the Tamiya Graveyard, where old tamiyas go to die. LOL thanks for the comment guys
To be honest and you've probably worked this out already, the BUST bit is where all the effort went in this one, the video took about 4 mins yesterday evening.

In hindsight, instead of the 'Bust' logo, you coulda done 'Loft' *grins*

7-Sep-2005

lol - when I made it I hadn't really thought of the number of cars up there - just the fact I had some unfinished projects stuffed in my loft! Good job i didn't pan down the other end or the shelves in my office :S (Two years ago there was twice as much stuff up there!)

rockthemonkees

7-Sep-2005

dont ever sell that lot will you, with the amount you have up their prices on the tamiya vintage stock exchange would plummet if you flooded the market with that lot. Look foward to seeing them on display properly one day

7-Sep-2005

This video made me cry... are they all dead ??

Petrolhead

7-Sep-2005

wowsers! never seen such a big bundle of vintage parts! Must be a 1/10th of all tamiya's vintage spare parts up there!

rc-martin

7-Sep-2005

and i thought i was the only dis-organised person on here. At least i know now there's no rush to get up in my loft and tidy up. Great movie!!

vintagejack

7-Sep-2005

I`m seriously disappointed Chris, I have a good mind to contact the R.S.P.C.T ( Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Tamiyas). I might let you get away with it if you let me collect the worst cases of abuse, there was one particular scorcher I saw pining away in a dusty corner....

The Dodge

7-Sep-2005

All i can say is your going to have one hell of a retirement, and sore fingers, in the future! I could retire now and still never finish restoring everything thats up there, and i'm 26!!!! Amazing collection, and for anyone who's distressed about this video, theyre not forgotten, just waiting....

8-Sep-2005

Now that's just being greedy!!! how on earth did you ever manage to collect that many......to be stored in the loft!!!...i'm just jealous...

made me think about my loft and what i keep up there

29-Apr-2006

Very sad movie but i don't think that it is fair that you have so many sand scorchers sitting in your loft and i have been searching for one for ages and i still haven't got one!

netsmithUK

29-Apr-2006

Sorry none of the items in the vid are for sale. They are only up there why I work out where to put them premanently. The number is a result of years of trawling ebay and putting wanted ads in the local paper.
