Got one of my 959s running for the first time(the non-shelf queen) and took it for a spin in my driveway. What a great-handling car! Amazing for a 20yr old RC vehicle. Its completely original right down to the mechanical speed controller, technigold motor and rally tires. In a couple of weeks I'll take it to a local off-road track for some real rally action. Also ran my Mountaineer and vintage 280zx RM2 today as well, also all original, including the vintage hump-pack battery. I'll post videos soon. Love this vintage stuff.

It is such a great handling car, even by today's standards. Very predictable. I was totally impressed driving it.

If you want obtacles for the 959, take a look at my more recent video of the 959 on a dirt track. Can't ask for more obstacles than that!!!
