As promised, here is the video of the drift action from the most recent Kent Bash. Make sure you watch the entire video, there's a little bonus after the credits....
Cheers to Buzz for doing the driving for Willyvision.
P.S. Here's the offroad action from the same bash; http://www.tamiyaclub.com/moviecomment.asp?id=1876&uid=79

The R34 is Tamiya's Z-Tune shell while the tyre smoke is actually a chimney flue tester!

Very very nice vid, like always!!!
I´m interested in which Tamiya chassis and which tires you guys prefer for drifting!

Well, I was using a TA-04, Belly had a TB-02, 3Doorpete had a TT-01, Bonnerworld had a TA-02 and I'm not sure about Bratman although I know everyone had PVC tyres. I find the TA-04 to be pretty good although I would like to fettle the setup a little more. Still, with it set up harder on the rear with a one way up front and tight balldiff at the rear it goes pretty well!

mr_pushrod

13-Sep-2006

It's not your speakers, the mic couldn't handle it! Toykid, I'll have to get some pics of the setup on Sunday as it was using Mad Zero's WW2 and my cam. I'll make sure someone gets a shot of Willycam in action

mr_pushrod

14-Sep-2006

Will do, just drop me your email address and I'll sort it out. Still got one more vid of the non drifty onroad stuff to do however and your F40 will definately be in that

8-Oct-2006

How exactly did you get the smoke? Is there a link to somewhere on an install?

mr_pushrod

8-Oct-2006

As I said in a comment lower down, the smoke is produced by a chimney flue tester. These are basically smoke bombs that burn for 40 seconds and are attched to a bit of plastic that can be screwed to the chassis.

The Skyline is electric on a TT-01 chassis. Read the comments and search on the forum and you'll find plenty of advice and info.
